About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to join our team at Manpower RPO - Babcock. As an Assistant Project Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the management of several projects across our Devonport site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Support: Provide administrative support to project managers, including developing and updating programmes and financially managing each project at all stages of the project lifecycle.
  • Stakeholder Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, pursuing resolution of technical or conflicting project requirements.
  • Budgeting and Reporting: Prepare budget proposals, monitor costs, and prepare reports for accountability meetings with both Babcock and MOD.
  • Tender Evaluation: Develop Statements of Requirements, evaluate tender responses, and make written recommendations for the selection of competent contractors.
Requirements
  • Experience: Relevant experience within a project management delivery environment, with a good level of organisation and ability to self-manage.
  • Qualifications: HNC in an engineering subject or equivalent experience, and an appropriate APM qualification.
  • Security Clearance: The successful candidate must be a sole UK national who is able to achieve and maintain Naval Nuclear Propulsion Information (NNPPI) security clearance for this role.
