Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deliver C#.NET applications and services that meet business requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality code, following industry best practices and coding standards.
  • Assist in the resolution of IT problems and provide support to the development team.
  • Work closely with the development team to deliver business value via Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Develop full-stack solutions, including user interface, business logic, services, and data layer.
  • Interact directly with the Front Office team to ensure alignment with business objectives.

Requirements

  • C# and.NET: Proficiency in C# programming language and understanding of the.NET Framework and.NET 6+ ecosystem.
  • Web technologies: Knowledge of web development principles, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Infrastructure: Understanding of protocols such as SSL/TLS and related technologies such as proxies, firewalls, etc.
  • OpenID Connect and OAuth: Understanding of authentication and authorization protocols for secure user authentication.
  • Back-end development: Knowledge of ASP.NET Core for building RESTful APIs and web applications.
  • Front-end development: Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, and NodeJS knowledge would be a bonus.
  • SignalR: Familiarity with real-time communication using SignalR.
  • Cloud technologies: Some exposure to Azure cloud technologies, primarily Redis, SignalR, and Entra ID.
  • Database management: Proficiency in SQL databases (e.g., SQL Server) and Entity Framework Core for data access.

Desirable Skills

  • Able to work in a team and exchange and discuss complex ideas clearly and concisely.
  • Banking experience is an advantage, especially around Commodities.
  • Good communication skills – both written and spoken.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and independent person.
  • Knowledge and experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
