Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our Business Intelligence team, where you will play a key role in helping us take our data platform to the next level.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and define data requirements for analysis and reporting
  • Design and develop data models, ETL processes, and architectures
  • Validate results and create business reports and custom queries
  • Monitor and tune data loads and queries
  • Administer data requirements and design functional specifications
  • Develop, maintain, and monitor data pipelines to automate data collection and integration
  • Implement data normalisation techniques to ensure data consistency and integrity
  • Design and develop reports, dashboards, and visualisations to deliver insights to stakeholders
  • Evaluate codes and ensure the quality of project deliverables
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, technical specialists, and business stakeholders
Requirements
  • Hands-on experience with data integration tools like Azure Data Factory or SSIS
  • Developing reports and custom queries using T-SQL
  • Experience with Azure SQL Database
  • Experience designing, developing, and implementing data warehouse solutions
  • Solid understanding of data normalisation techniques and database concepts
  • Ability to research solutions and best practices
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Over 5 years' experience in data analysis, reporting, data warehousing, and business intelligence
  • Experience with programming languages like Python or R is a plus
Desirable Skills
  • Previous work experience in the financial services sector
  • Understanding of mortgage, general insurance, and wealth processes
  • Understanding of point of sale/customer relationship management platforms
