Role Overview

Global Counsel is seeking an Associate to join its Investor Services practice, advising global institutional investors on navigating politics, policy, and regulation. As a key member of the team, you will work alongside colleagues to deliver high-quality insights for investor clients, undertaking complex research and analysis to inform commercial decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-depth research and analysis on political, policy, and regulatory developments affecting clients
  • Develop and maintain a network of businesses and policymakers to inform research and analysis
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior-level clients, ensuring effective communication of complex information
  • Support colleagues on business development opportunities, including drafting proposals and other support materials
  • Collaborate with the team to deliver high-quality insights and analysis to clients
Requirements
  • Strong commercial, political, policy, and regulatory acumen, with a keen understanding of the impact of politics on business
  • Excellent research and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex information and draw meaningful conclusions
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex information to senior-level clients
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to professional and personal development
