About the Role

As an MOT Tester at Halfords, you will be responsible for conducting thorough and accurate vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. You will work closely with our team of experienced technicians to provide exceptional customer service and ensure that our customers receive the highest level of care and attention.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct MOT tests on a variety of vehicles, including cars and motorcycles
  • Inspect vehicles to identify any defects or issues that may affect their safety or roadworthiness
  • Provide accurate and detailed reports of your findings to customers and colleagues
  • Work collaboratively with our team to ensure that all vehicles are thoroughly inspected and repaired to the highest standards
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid MOT testing licence (or be willing to obtain one)
  • A full driving licence with less than 9 points
