Senior Operations Manager

At DHL, we're looking for a highly skilled Senior Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you'll be responsible for directing daily, weekly, and monthly activities to maximize the performance of our operation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership, motivation, training, and development of the workforce to identify and implement action plans to reduce skill gaps.
  • Execute against customer requirements, operational performance, and site compliance management, including HSE, Assets, and Site Improvement plans.
  • Submit weekly, monthly, and annual business metrics, KPI reporting, and project delivery.
  • Facilitate and deliver workforce engagement in collaboration with peer group.
  • Oversee new hire orientation and onboarding process, HR, centre payroll processing, engagement activities, employee issues/grievances/appeals, performance and talent management, employee exit/offboarding, and HR policies and governance.
  • Manage, develop, update, and implement local operational procedures (SOP) to prevent service failures and improve standards.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance of the safety committee to prevent incidents and accidents that may cause loss.
Requirements:
  • Transport experience within an automotive environment (desirable)
  • Contract Management experience and experience within Multi Site operations
  • Previous compliance and understanding within a transport network operation
