Community Dermatology Service GP

Healthcare Central London is seeking a dedicated and experienced GP with a Specialist Interest (GPwSI) or Extended Role (GPwER) in Dermatology to join our dynamic clinical team in the Community Dermatology Service (CDS).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct face-to-face and/or remote appointments with patients, providing high-quality care and management of chronic skin conditions.
  • Participate in webinars and educational sessions to improve management of skin conditions at primary care level and enhance quality of referrals.
  • Collaborate with Consultant Dermatologists in joint clinics to deal with advanced clinical cases, promoting learning and accreditation.
  • Engage in continuous quality improvement activities, participate in clinical audits, and maintain professional logbooks to ensure high standards of care and patient safety.
  • Pursue opportunities for professional development, attending relevant training sessions, courses, and conferences to enhance clinical skills and stay up-to-date with best practices in primary care.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in handling busy and varied community care caseloads and responding flexibly to workload fluctuations.
  • Training in Clinical Leadership or Management.
  • Teaching/Training experience.
  • Understanding of clinical risk management and clinical governance.
  • Knowledge of local NHS service pathways.
