Job Description

At Clifford Chance, we are seeking a highly skilled Tax Director - Funds to join our UK tax team. Our team is unique in its breadth and depth, with leading corporate tax, finance tax, real estate tax, funds tax, indirect tax, and tax litigation expertise.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of the market across a diverse range of tax work, covering fund raisings, carry structuring, fund co-investments, continuation vehicles, LP portfolio sale secondaries, GP M&A, LP side work, and more.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with a broad range of clients and the Firm's tax, funds, and corporate teams across the globe.
  • Have exposure to complex, high-value matters that frequently headline in the financial and business press.
  • Develop new client contacts and work alongside market leaders in their respective geographies and practice areas.
Requirements

We are looking for a strong relevant funds tax experience as a lawyer with an established tax practice, probably gained at a City firm or at an overseas practice in a common law jurisdiction with a highly regarded profile.

You should demonstrate strong communication and analytical skills, a high level of commercial awareness, and an appetite for business development, client relationship management, and thought leadership.
