We are seeking a highly motivated and versatile Structural Engineer with a passion for heritage works to join our team at Aldwych Consulting Ltd.


**About the Role**


This is an exciting opportunity to work on specialist conservation and refurbishment projects with a medium-sized, well-established design consultancy based in the UK. As a Heritage Structural Engineer, you will be part of our Heritage and Conservation division, working on a range of structural and civil engineering services, including building surveys, feasibility studies, reports, and full engineering design.


**Key Responsibilities**


• Conduct structural assessments and surveys of heritage buildings and sites


• Develop and implement conservation and refurbishment plans


• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to deliver projects


• Provide expert advice on structural engineering solutions for heritage projects


• Maintain and develop relationships with clients and stakeholders


**Requirements**


• Chartered Engineer status or working towards it


• CARE Accreditation or working towards it


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


• Strong technical skills and knowledge of structural engineering principles


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team


• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
