We are currently collaborating with a Cloud Consultancy that requires a GCP Solutions Architect to contribute to an ongoing initiative with a prominent financial institution.

The successful applicant will be skilled in engaging in technical dialogues and will work alongside a team of architects responsible for designing, constructing, and implementing solutions on the Google Cloud Platform.

Contract Details:
6 Month Contract
Inside IR35
Immediate Start

Hybrid Remote Working (2/3 days per week on site)

Key Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of GCP components and services
- Proven experience in cloud solution design, implementation, and migration within GCP
- In-depth knowledge of cloud services and infrastructure elements
- Ability to produce both high-level and detailed technical designs
- Excellent documentation capabilities across technical and operational domains
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies
- Proficiency in any programming language, preferably Python or NodeJS
- Strong experience in APIs and API Gateway Management
- Effective stakeholder management skills, including engagement with C-Level executives
- Capability to develop financial TCO and ROI models

Desirable Skills:
- Familiarity with BigQuery, Cloud Composer, Dataflow, and PubSub
- Experience with Google Kubernetes Engine and Helm
- Knowledge of AIOps or MLOps
- Understanding of Networking within Google Cloud Platform
