Senior Town Planner - Energy Infrastructure UK

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Town Planner to join our team in the Energy Infrastructure UK sector. As a Senior Town Planner, you will play a critical role in delivering the planning and consenting aspects of major green energy projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Planning Lead on multidisciplinary projects
  • Planning lead on S.37/TCPA projects
  • Responsible for delivering the planning aspects of these types of projects on time and on budget
  • Input to commercial and programme elements as required

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in a relevant subject such as Geography, Planning, or Environmental Sciences (desired)
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject (essential)
  • Minimum 5 years' post-graduate experience in the infrastructure/development sector working on relevant transmission, distribution, or other planning schemes
  • Experience of planning and consenting linear infrastructure requiring Development Consent Orders (or equivalent stature) for Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects is preferred
