Job Title: Pupil Support Assistant

Location: Stenhouse Primary School

Job Type: Full-time/Part-time

Salary: £23,057 (pro rata for part-time and sessional)

Hours: 25 per week, 39 weeks sessional

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Pupil Support Assistant in our Enhanced Support Base. The successful candidate will work with pupils from P1-7 with complex special needs, providing support and assistance to ensure their educational and personal development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized support to pupils with complex special needs
  • Assist with lesson planning and delivery to ensure pupils' educational needs are met
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans
  • Contribute to a safe and inclusive learning environment
  • Communicate effectively with pupils, parents, and colleagues to ensure seamless support
Requirements
