Position Overview:
A Lead Mechatronics Engineer with extensive expertise in the development and construction of electro-mechanical systems is sought by Technical Futures Ltd. This role requires strong proficiency in 3D CAD software and experience in programming PLC control systems.


Key Responsibilities:
As a vital member of the automation division, the successful candidate will be responsible for the design and development of various machines, including robotics, actuators, and conveyor systems. This role also involves the design of electrical and pneumatic control systems, managing automation projects, and providing technical support to fellow engineers.


Essential Qualifications and Skills:

  • Degree in Mechatronics, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum of 4 years of industrial experience in the design of electro-mechanical systems.
  • Proficient in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks preferred).
  • Strong understanding of pneumatic and electrical control systems.
  • Experience in programming PLC control systems using Ladder Logic.
  • Familiarity with Allen Bradley RS Logix/Studio 5000 and FactoryTalk View; experience with programming Mitsubishi SCARA robots and Fanuc 6-axis robots is advantageous.
