Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembly Technician to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret technical schematics and blueprints to ascertain specifications for mechanical engineering tasks.
  • Conduct inspections and disassembly of electric motors, gear systems, and pumps to diagnose issues.
  • Perform mechanical repairs and reassemble components effectively.
  • Measure, cut, and shape materials in accordance with established specifications.
  • Utilize hand and power tools to assemble and fit various components.
  • Weld or solder parts together as required.
  • Evaluate finished products to ensure quality and precision.
  • Identify and troubleshoot any defects or issues during the assembly process.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines consistently.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter or similar role with a solid understanding of assembly techniques.
  • Skilled in the use of hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, and pliers.
  • Familiarity with power tools including drills, saws, and grinders.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and ability to work with high precision.
  • Strong analytical skills for problem-solving in assembly tasks.
  • Ability to accurately read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and planning abilities.
