Spencer Rose Ltd is seeking a dedicated Software Security Specialist to join our esteemed client’s team. This role is integral to enhancing the security posture of software applications while ensuring efficient product delivery throughout the development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive security insights during the design phase, ensuring adherence to essential security principles and industry best practices at both the software and infrastructure levels.
- Assist teams in understanding security requirements, utilizing established resources such as the OWASP framework.
- Perform both focused and extensive security assessments of components and services throughout the development lifecycle.
Required Skills and Experience:
- A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in a Cyber Security role, with a strong emphasis on application security.
- Familiarity with the OWASP Top Ten vulnerabilities.
- Prior experience with programming languages and frameworks such as Java, Spring Boot, React, and Node is advantageous.
