We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Financial Operations Assistant to join our team at Axon Moore Group Ltd. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes.
Main Responsibilities:- Cash Management: Count and reconcile cash receipts, manage cash flow forecasting, and perform weekly payment runs.
- Financial Reporting: Assist with VAT returns, month-end processes, and year-end closing processes.
- Payroll Administration: Support payroll duties for the group, including post-credit card payments and bank reconciliations.
- Credit Control: Maintain a clean ledger across Accounts Payable and Receivable, and perform credit control duties.
- Administrative Support: Provide ad-hoc administrative support as needed, including audits and documentation.
- Experience: Proven experience within the transactional finance remit, with a strong understanding of financial processes and procedures.
- Skills: Excellent organizational and administrative skills, with the ability to prioritize a high volume of work and manage multiple tasks.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to develop effective working relationships at all levels within the organization.
- Teamwork: A strong team player with a driven and detail-oriented approach.
Salary: £25,000 - £28,000
Location: Oldham area, with flexibility on start and finish times and hybrid working arrangements to be discussed after probation.
