FeRFA, the Resin Flooring Association, serves as a representative body for leading product manufacturers, specialized contractors, suppliers, and service providers within the UK Resin Flooring sector. Our mission is to enhance the industry by fostering excellence, establishing standards, and offering training and support to our members.

Role Overview:

We are in search of a skilled and motivated Business Development Operations Manager to propel the Association forward. This essential position will facilitate the efficient operation of our organization and contribute to our strategic vision. You will serve as a vital link between the CEO and the FeRFA Support team, ensuring operational excellence, providing administrative assistance, and coordinating marketing initiatives and events. Your contributions will allow our CEO to concentrate on business growth and member engagement while guaranteeing that our support team delivers exceptional services to our members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operations Management:
  • Oversee daily operational activities to guarantee organizational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Assist the CEO with administrative responsibilities, allowing them to prioritize strategic projects and business development.
  • Ensure that all policies and documentation are current and comply with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with contractors and team members to ensure timely and budget-compliant project completion.
  • Administrative Support:
  • Serve as a secondary contact for members, working with FeRFA Support to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Coordinate and assist in the administration of training programs and events, ensuring smooth execution and member satisfaction.
  • Organize and conduct interviews, generating feedback reports for new and prospective members.
  • Manage membership administration, including onboarding new members and maintaining accurate records.
  • Marketing Coordination:
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Function to implement marketing strategies and campaigns that align with FeRFA's strategic objectives.
  • Ensure coherence between marketing activities, sub-committees, and the association's goals.
  • Event Coordination:
  • Plan and coordinate FeRFA events, including the AGM, golf days, and Awards.
  • Manage event logistics, including venue selection, scheduling, and on-site coordination.
  • Business Development:
  • Identify opportunities for membership expansion and engagement.
  • Assist the CEO in formulating and executing business development strategies.
  • Cultivate relationships with potential members, partners, and industry stakeholders.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience in the construction sector, ideally within resin flooring or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in operations management and administration.
  • Experience in marketing coordination is advantageous.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, and familiarity with CRM systems.
