Salary: £45,000 per annum, including private health care, van, fuel card, and overtime

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Gas Engineer to join our team at Excel Engineering Recruitment Ltd. As a Commercial Gas Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out maintenance and repair work on a wide range of commercial gas appliances.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out PPM schedules and meeting set KPI targets on commercial sites, including car showrooms, offices, student accommodation, care homes, and other commercial sites
  • Working on a 24-hour rota for emergency call-outs, with standby allowance paid and overtime rates applying (1 in 5)
  • Plenty of overtime available, with future prospects and progression opportunities
  • 22 days' annual leave, rising to 25 days by 1 day per year, plus use of a company van for personal use

About the Company:

Our client is a reputable and well-established Building Services company specializing in M&E Engineering, including commercial gas and HVAC maintenance. They have close working relationships with high-profile clients, resulting in long-term contracts and security.

Requirements:

  • Recognized industry qualifications, including Gas Safe and ACS commercial gas
  • Good customer service skills, with excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to diagnose and repair faults on commercial gas appliances
  • Experience of working on commercial gas maintenance contracts previously would be advantageous
  • Motivated and trustworthy individual
