Static Multi Skilled Engineer (Electrical Biased) - Birmingham

CBW Staffing Solutions is seeking a skilled Static Multi Skilled Engineer to join our team in Birmingham. This is a permanent full-time role working 40 hours per week with no on-call responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform reactive repairs on all systems as required
  • Ensure routine maintenance is carried out on electrical and mechanical systems
  • Carry out plumbing tasks, including unblocking toilets and replacing taps and washers
  • Monitor and maintain BMS systems, including hot and cold systems
  • Perform all aspects of M&E/Fabric maintenance
  • Maintain and update logbooks
  • Work to planned preventative and reactive maintenance regimes
  • Repair and service mechanical and electrical equipment, including PPM and reactive work
  • Manage priorities within contract constraints
  • Work within a multi-disciplinary team to achieve set goals
  • Provide information for the pricing of M&E works where applicable, for minor projects and maintenance
Person Specification:
  • Previous experience in a maintenance environment
  • Experience of electrical systems management and paperwork
  • Experience of working with business critical equipment
  • Post-apprenticeship experience in a maintenance environment
  • Good knowledge and understanding of complex mechanical systems (desirable)
  • A good basic education is essential, with good written and spoken English and basic mathematical skills
  • Recognized electrical qualification
  • City & Guilds 17th Edition in Electrical Installations
  • City & Guilds Test and Inspection
Salary and Benefits:
