Project Engineer Opportunity at RSK Group

BWGM Joint Venture, a partnership between RSK companies Binnies UK and WGM Engineering, is seeking a skilled Project Engineer to join our Projects division in the Southern Water region of England. As a Project Engineer, you will play a crucial role in assisting with delivery preparation activities and ensuring the successful execution of programmed work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop project objectives by reviewing project proposals and plans, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure alignment.
  • Prepare project status reports, summarizing information and trends to inform decision-making.
  • Collate engineering specifications to generate supply chain enquiries, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
  • Review and create detailed Risk Assessment and Method Statements (RAMS) to mitigate potential risks.
  • Conduct site surveys, gathering data and insights to inform project decisions.
  • Support project needs, coordinating activity between key stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery.
  • Regularly report project progress and updates to Senior Management, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and sub-contractors, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
Requirements:
  • At least 2-3 years of project engineering experience, preferably within an engineering background.
  • Hold an engineering degree, demonstrating a strong foundation in project management principles.
  • Proficiency in MS Project and/or P6 Primavera planning software, with experience in project scheduling and coordination.
  • A valid UK driver's license, ensuring flexibility and mobility in project delivery.
