About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Science Partner to join our team at Assembly. As a Data Science Partner, you will play a key role in helping us drive business growth through data-driven insights and solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with our cross-functional teams, including Consulting, Product, and Media, to develop and implement data science solutions that drive business results.
  • Work with our Head of Department and other Data Scientists to develop and grow our data science product set globally.
  • Identify opportunities for new products and services, particularly in the areas of data privacy and measurement.
  • Directly support key global clients, providing added value services and commercial consulting opportunities.
  • Own, manage, and contribute to large and complex client projects, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
  • Guide and support regional teams in their data science delivery, ensuring consistent and compelling work.

Requirements

  • Exceptional analytical thinker with a passion for using data to solve business problems, with 3-4 years of experience in product analytics or Data Science.
  • Charismatic storyteller able to effectively communicate data insights to senior figures.
  • Strong understanding and working knowledge of R programming language.
  • Knowledge of SQL and hands-on experience with large relational databases.
  • Experience with version control (Git, GitHub) and CI/CD processes.
  • Foundational knowledge and experience working with Python programming language.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with platforms and data typically found in digital marketing, including analytics and media serving platforms.
  • Understanding of the MarTech and digital marketing measurement landscape.
  • Knowledge around the latest data privacy and security developments in online advertising.
  • Experience working with cloud computing environments such as AWS or GCP.

  • Friendly, approachable, and able to collaborate with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
  • Curious and proactive, continually looking for new opportunities for the Data team to work with clients and internal teams.
  • Highly organized and process-driven to keep on top of multiple projects at once.
