This role will form part of the senior leadership team with responsibility for leading and developing a small finance team, and the day-to-day running of the department. The role requires the ability to clearly and effectively communicate to non-finance stakeholders and produce detailed and insightful analysis to support key business decision-making.

  • Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and Management:

  • Part of the senior leadership team providing strategic decision-making support.
  • Responsible for the day-to-day management of the finance team (AP and AR).

Financial Planning and Analysis:

  • Preparation of financial statements, P&L, balance sheet etc.
  • Budgeting and forecasting.
  • Variance analysis.

Cash Flow and Risk Management:

  • Cash flow management.
  • Compliance and risk management.

Process Improvement:

  • Improvement of financial controls and processes.

Ad-Hoc Projects:

  • Support with any ad-hoc projects.

Requirements:

  • ACCA, CIMA, ACA Qualified or equivalent.
  • Experience of working in a busy manufacturing environment.
  • Experience of leading and developing a small finance team.
  • Knowledge of various ERP systems.
  • Advanced Excel.
