Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice President to join our team as Chief of Staff to the Global Head of Investment Banking Engineering. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic support and guidance to the Global Head, as well as driving business initiatives and projects across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide strategic support and guidance to the Global Head of Investment Banking Engineering, including developing and implementing business strategies and plans.
  2. Drive business initiatives and projects across the organization, including managing cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  3. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including senior business leaders and engineering experts.
  4. Assist with business management, including headcount and expense trends, as well as projections.
  5. Partner with Human Capital Management to develop and implement talent management initiatives, including recruiting, training, and other annual processes.
Requirements

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of experience in a related field. They will also have strong quantitative skills, excellent presentation skills, and the ability to articulate complex concepts visually. Additionally, they will have strong project management skills, the ability to prioritize multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment, and the ability to learn quickly and form independent judgments.

Experience

  • 8+ year(s)
  • Good quantitative skillset
  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts visually (advanced use of MS Excel, PowerPoint essential)
  • Ability to convey multifaceted ideas in clear and concise written language, with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong project management skills to drive/coordinate firmwide initiatives involving multiple workstreams and stakeholder groups
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to learn quickly, evaluate and form independent judgments
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong and expansive networks internally and externally.
