Position Overview

COMPUTER VISION SPECIALIST IN SLAM TECHNOLOGY

Salary: £80,000

Work Arrangement: Hybrid

This role presents a remarkable opportunity for a specialist in Computer Vision with a focus on SLAM (Simultaneous Localization and Mapping) to join a pioneering DeepTech organization.

Harnham is partnering with an innovative firm that has created a cutting-edge artificial intelligence platform aimed at enhancing construction and engineering initiatives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design and execute Machine Learning and Computer Vision algorithms utilizing SLAM methodologies and frameworks.
  • Engage in projects involving Visual SLAM and LIDAR-based SLAM.
  • Collaborate within a team of four professionals.
  • Deploy models for operational use on their Cloud infrastructure.
  • Work in close collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, including Engineering, Intelligence, and Product Development, to meet project objectives.
  • Leverage your expertise in data science to improve existing systems and architectural frameworks.
  • Remain updated on the latest trends and advancements in data science and construction analytics.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Possess a relevant academic qualification, at the MSc or PhD level, in fields such as AI, Robotics, or Computer Vision.
  • Experience with Visual SLAM is essential.
  • Exhibit a strong comprehension and substantial experience with Computer Vision models, particularly in SLAM applications.
  • Proficient in programming languages such as Python and/or C++, with experience in end-to-end deployment.
