About the Role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and innovative professional to join our dynamic Inclusive Learning Team in Hastings. As a Lecturer - Inclusive Learning, you will play a key role in supporting learners with social emotional and mental health support needs, learning difficulties, disabilities, and Autism within our Inclusive Learning provision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver a range of subjects, including Maths, English, employability skills, personal and social development, and vocational pathways.
- Liaise and collaborate with curriculum staff to devise a curriculum that enriches the learning experience and raises the aspirations of learners.
- Support the continual development of the area by contributing to departmental planning and team meetings.
- Pro-actively support young people who may need guidance and support with their behaviour to prepare them for progression onto mainstream courses.
Requirements:
- Relevant degree (or equivalent) and teaching qualification.
- Post-qualification experience and a student-centred approach to teaching and learning.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
