We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Warehouse Team Member to join our team.

As a Warehouse Team Member, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse, including receiving and storing inventory, processing orders, and maintaining a safe and clean working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a pallet truck, forklift, counterbalance, reach truck (or other MHE) to load stores, transport pallets, rearrange stock or place heavy/large objects, as appropriate.
  • Ensure products are stored safely and labelled correctly.
  • Ensure orders are packaged and labelled correctly to prevent returned orders.
  • Assist in loading/unloading with appropriate apparatus and following safety protocol.
  • Inspect stock for defects or damage, reporting any concerns to the shift manager.
  • Occasionally assist customers at the Trade Counter.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory.
  • Conduct regular stock checks and report any discrepancies.
  • Report Health and Safety concerns immediately, following the reporting procedure.
  • Rely on appropriate equipment/tools for the job, following the correct system.
  • Be aware of, and participate in, the appropriate training to become multi-skilled.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment in your area.

Working Pattern:

  • Monday to Friday
  • 7pm to 4am
  • 60-minute break

Requirements:

  • Industry knowledge and experience (desirable).
  • Knowledge of our competitors, and our group companies (desirable).
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of general Health & Safety.
  • Previous experience working in a warehouse or distribution centre.
  • Familiarity with goods-in and goods-out, inventory and general logistics.
  • Happy to carry out manual handling duties as required.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and results-driven environment.
  • Flexible attitude toward varying working hours (rotational shifts, or peak sales).
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • First Aid Qualification (desirable).
  • Valid and current Fork Lift, Counterbalance and/or Reach Truck licence.
