Site Supervisor Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Site Supervisor to join our client, a reputable Blue Chip Building Contractor, on a 5-year framework of retrofit refurbishment and new build projects worth £200k to £5 million.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery of projects, ensuring effective communication and leadership of a small team. This is a long-term career opportunity to work on a 10-year framework.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Experience in running projects from £0.2 million to £5 million
  • Top Tier Contractor background
  • Client-facing experience
  • Project leadership qualities and exceptional soft skills
  • Strong health and safety awareness and management
  • Strong technical and financial acumen

The Site Supervisor will be responsible for controlling all aspects of H&S on site, including programming work schedules, monitoring building progress, and ensuring compliance with regulations and cost limitations. They will also manage site inductions, method statements, risk assessments, toolbox talks, and permits to work, as well as logistics planning, plant and labour resources management, and progress meetings with the site team and subcontractors.

Requirements:

  • Strong construction background
  • Previous experience working for a quality contractor
  • Strong track record of delivering high-profile projects
