Dental Nurse Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out clerical and administrative/clinical duties to ensure efficient operation of the clinic.
* Maintain a high standard of infection prevention control within the dental clinics.
* Work collaboratively with the team to provide comprehensive clinical and administrative procedures for patients.

Person Specification:
* Good general education with skills in written and oral English and basic maths.
* NEBDN Certificate and/or an appropriate professional qualification or equivalent.
* Registered with the General Dental Council as a Dental Care Professional.
* Experience as a Dental Nurse of 3 years.
* Up-to-date knowledge in all areas of Dental Nursing.
* Competent in basic MS Office and IT Applications.
Desirable Qualifications:
* Additional qualifications in Sedation, Radiography, Special Care Dentistry, or Oral Health Promotion.
* ECDL or similar information technology training.
* Experience of working with patients with special care needs.
* Experience of previous dental administration.
* Experience of working with SOE (Software of Excellence).
