Join Thames Water as a Quality & Environmental Lead

We are seeking a dedicated professional to enhance our management systems and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards. This role is ideal for individuals eager to contribute positively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the external certification processes for our management systems, ensuring adherence to all relevant regulations and environmental permits.
  • Collaborate with various internal teams to pinpoint integration opportunities and enhance processes to meet business objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead both internal and external audits, develop comprehensive audit programs, execute audits, and address any non-conformities effectively.
  • Facilitate organizational learning from non-conformances to prevent future occurrences and maintain thorough action-tracking records.
  • Conduct the annual management review meeting, provide expert guidance on management systems, deliver training sessions, and assist with regulatory inquiries.
This position offers a hybrid working model, requiring occasional presence at various offices and sites as necessary.

What We Expect:
  • A degree in a STEM-related field or equivalent experience in a relevant discipline.
  • Familiarity with management systems and pertinent ISO Standards (including Asset Management, Quality, and Environmental).
  • Experience in planning and executing internal audits.
  • Confidence in leading and coordinating external ISO audits.
  • Strong communication skills for engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Previous experience in the water industry or similar utilities is advantageous.
Benefits:
  • Competitive salary range of £44,000 - £55,000 per annum, based on experience.
  • 26 days of annual leave, increasing to 30 with service length, in addition to bank holidays.
