POSITION OVERVIEW

We are currently seeking a dedicated individual to join the Office of the CIO as a Strategic Planning and Assurance Specialist .

In this capacity, you will assist the technology department in maintaining effective planning and control by executing planning and assurance services and activities. You will proactively ensure compliance with policies, standards, and processes, deliver high-quality performance reporting, monitor performance, and drive necessary improvements.

Below are some of the key responsibilities associated with this role:

Conducting assurance activities across all teams within the department Generating assurance reports and analyzing findings Monitoring progress to ensure continuous enhancement of departmental functions Preparing governance reports and analyses, along with management updates Providing administrative support for governance meetings Assisting with Business Continuity planning and testing Managing the Process and Standards library

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

You will join the team with experience in a Technology department, along with a background in a similar role where you have offered administrative and analytical support.

It is expected that you possess knowledge of planning and assurance and their benefits, as well as proficiency in MS Office applications and SharePoint administration.

To excel in this position, you should have a solid understanding of governance and assurance, experience in report and presentation creation, and a good appreciation for internal customer service while managing the expectations of multiple stakeholders.

Familiarity with Service Management and Risk Management toolsets would be highly advantageous.

You will need exceptional communication, time management, prioritization, and organizational skills, along with a keen attention to detail.
