About the Role

As an Autism Support Assistant, you will provide one-on-one and small group support to students with autism, assisting in the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs). You will work closely with teachers to create an inclusive classroom environment, supporting students in developing social, communication, and academic skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide tailored support to students with autism, promoting their social, communication, and academic development.
  • Assist in the creation and implementation of IEPs, ensuring students receive targeted support.
  • Collaborate with teachers to develop and maintain an inclusive classroom environment.
  • Support students in developing essential life skills, including social interaction and communication.
  • Monitor and record student progress, providing regular feedback to teachers and parents.
