Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled LGV C+E Driver to join our team as a Supply Chain Specialist. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods across the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a Class 1 HGV vehicle, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Load and unload goods using a forklift truck, with training provided for those who require it.
- Provide office cover in the Transport Manager's absence, including handling customer paperwork and other administrative tasks.
- Comply with all relevant regulations, including The Highway Code and road safety rules.
- Work collaboratively with the transport team to ensure the smooth operation of our logistics services.
Requirements:
- A valid HGV Class 1 driving license (C+E) and Driver CPC qualification.
- A minimum of 6 months' experience driving a Class 1 HGV vehicle.
- Counterbalance forklift truck experience is desirable, but training will be provided for those who require it.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional nights out.
- Live locally to Burton on Trent.
