About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Accountant to join our team at Public Practice Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional financial services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support a diverse portfolio of clients across various sectors.
  • Prepare year-end accounts for Limited companies, including FRS102a and FRS105.
  • Prepare accounts for Sole traders, partnerships, and LLPs.
  • Complete corporate, personal, and partnership tax returns.
  • Assist with the preparation of management accounts.
  • Prepare VAT returns and perform ad hoc bookkeeping tasks.
  • Collaborate with senior management, including supporting Partners with projects.
  • Contribute to a supportive and inclusive team environment.
Requirements
  • Strong working knowledge of software, including Excel, Sage, and accounting and taxation software.
  • Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
  • Organized and able to manage own workload effectively.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Confident working alongside senior management.
  • Motivated and able to inspire others.
  • Collaborative and creative.
