At Transport UK London, we're seeking a skilled Rail Replacement Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the smooth delivery of our rail replacement services across the Scotland network.

The Role

As a Rail Replacement Coordinator, you'll be responsible for coordinating the provision of coaches, buses, small vehicles, and taxis to support our rail replacement services. You'll work closely with our operations team to manage disruptions and ensure that our services run on time. This will involve making announcements, carrying out safety duties, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the provision of transportation services to support rail replacement operations
  • Manage disruptions and ensure that services run on time
  • Make announcements and provide information to customers
  • Carry out safety duties and ensure the safety of customers and staff
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer queries

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexibly and at short notice
  • Strong decision-making skills and ability to work under pressure
  • Good attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Availability to work a range of hours, including early mornings and evenings
