About The Martlets:
The Martlets is a purpose-built care home in East Preston, West Sussex, providing long-stay and respite residential care for older people with physical frailty and dementia.
Our residents enjoy a high standard of care, with dedicated professional staff providing individualized attention and support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assessing patients' health and care needs, developing care plans, and administering medication
- Providing nursing care, including wound care and palliative care, and liaising with other healthcare professionals
- Supporting service users with activities of daily living, providing emotional support, and maintaining accurate records
- Working within CQC guidelines to ensure high standards of care and contributing to policy development and staff training
Requirements:
- NMC registered nurse with experience in elderly care, including dementia care
- Knowledge of CQC regulations and standards, excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team, use own initiative, and commit to continuing professional development
Salary and Working Hours:
£22.60 per hour, with shift times as and when needed, including 07:45-20:15 and 20:00-08:00
