About the Role

We are seeking a skilled CNC Miller Setter/Operator to join our team at EMBS Engineering, a leading talent specialist in the precision engineering industry. As a CNC Miller Setter/Operator, you will be responsible for setting, operating, and editing 4 and 5-axis Milling machines using Fanuc controls.

Key Responsibilities
  • Setting and operating 4 and 5-axis Milling machines using Fanuc controls
  • Machining small to large-sized complex parts in low batch sizes using various materials such as Aluminium, Stainless Steel, and Titanium for precision industries
  • Machining to tight tolerances
  • Working from engineering drawings
  • Working on multiple set ups (2-3 per day)
Requirements
  • Must be able to set, operate, and edit 4 and 5-axis CNC Milling machines
  • Experience working with Fanuc controls
  • Previous experience machining complex parts for precision industries, including Aerospace, Motorsport, Nuclear, MOD, Oil, and Gas
  • Previous experience working with Aluminium, Stainless Steel, and Titanium
  • Experience with machining to tight tolerances
  • Confident working with small to large-sized components in low batches
  • Ability to confidently read and interpret engineering drawings
Desirable Skills
  • Long-Bed experience
  • Previous experience using a Fanuc Automation Robot
  • Confident with TPMS
  • Previous experience working on Extrusions
