Position Overview
As a Treasury Forecasting Manager, you will be pivotal in shaping the bank's Funding and Liquidity strategies. This role offers a unique opportunity for a motivated professional to engage in a rewarding career path, where you will be responsible for generating comprehensive funding and liquidity plans alongside essential deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development of the bank's Funding & Liquidity plan under various scenarios, including stress testing and baseline assessments.
- Engage with a diverse range of stakeholders across different levels of the organization to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Contribute to the execution of funding and liquidity plans, including the 9+3 budget cycle, ICAAP, and various stress testing exercises.
- Analyze and validate inputs from business units and functions to enhance the accuracy of the Funding & Liquidity forecasting process.
- Ensure adherence to funding and liquidity risk appetites, recommending corrective actions when necessary.
- Work closely with subject matter experts to improve forecasting capabilities and methodologies.
Required Skills and Qualifications
A solid foundation in accounting, particularly within the financial services sector, is essential. Familiarity with funding and liquidity principles is advantageous but not mandatory.
Additionally, candidates should possess:
- A relevant qualification in accounting, banking, or treasury management.
- Exceptional stakeholder management abilities.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
