Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Commissioning and Field Engineer to join our team at John Zink Hamworthy Combustion. As a key member of our global service organization, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive support to our customers, including installation supervision, commissioning, troubleshooting, and annual servicing of our equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Commission and troubleshoot complex combustion systems, including PLC's, PID loop controllers, VFD's, HMI's, and other control devices.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to customers, including preventative maintenance, emergency assistance, and automation support.
  • Travel to customer job sites approximately 65% of the time, with occasional work in outdoor environments and long workdays.
  • Collaborate with our research and development team to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and innovations in the field.
Requirements
  • A recognized qualification in an engineering discipline, such as mechanical or electrical engineering.
  • Experience working with combustion systems, burners, flares, and gas combustor units.
  • Proficiency in PLC programming and experience working with Allen Bradley and Siemens systems.
  • Able to pass an offshore medical and work in a variety of environments, including hot and cold conditions.
