About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Lifting Supervisor to join our team at Churchill Living Ltd.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe lifting and movement of materials on our construction site, adhering to health and safety regulations and guidelines.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Examining equipment before use to ensure safety and compliance with technical specifications
  • Notifying the Site Manager of any faults or issues
  • Providing clear and correct signals to the Crane Driver and other site colleagues
  • Ensuring the safe lifting and manoeuvre of materials

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience as a Banksman / Slinger / Lifting Supervisor on a busy construction site
  • Certification in Banksman / Slinger operations
  • Knowledge of the HSE Act 1974, Construction (lifting operations) Regulations of 1961, and Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
