- Ensure KPI targets are met on newly installed and existing chassis assembly equipment.
- Manage and progress suppliers against project timelines.
- Issue clear reports on project status and escalate any roadblocks appropriately.
- Oversee and plan onsite installations, managing external contractors.
- Support the Process Development Leader in progressing and completing project-related tasks.
- Guide assembly facility suppliers in designing controls, safety, and electrical systems to ensure standards are followed.
- Excellent understanding of automation, electrical, and fluid power systems.
- Proven understanding of functional machine safety equipment and safety grading requirements.
- Ability to modify machine control elements, electrical design, and communication protocols.
- Mechanical comprehension, numerical computation, technical understanding, logical understanding, and eagerness to succeed.
- Ability to manage external suppliers and contractors.
- Ability to plan and manage one's own time and responsibilities with minimal supervision.
- Ability to modify automated software sequences.
- Good knowledge of designing production facilities in the aspects of controls, electrical, and safety.
- Understanding of chassis assembly processes.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport, displaying trust, integrity, diversity awareness, and good networking skills.
