The Refurbishment Technician Engineer will play a pivotal role in enhancing and optimizing the current upgrade process, ensuring both quality and efficiency. This position is responsible for leading the refurbishment team, managing process activities, driving productivity for maximum profitability, and upholding environmental, safety, and security policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the refurbishment team to achieve quality and efficiency goals
- Manage process activities to ensure smooth operations
- Drive productivity to maximize profitability
- Uphold environmental, safety, and security policies
- Collaborate with colleagues to manage performance and identify training needs
- Act as a communication channel between Refurbishment Shift Managers and colleagues
- Deploy skills effectively during shifts
- Identify and arrange training for new and existing colleagues
- Ensure accuracy and quality of work
- Address quality issues and seek continuous improvement
- Conduct training meetings and ensure PPE compliance
- Deal with external customers in person
- Attend meetings with Line Manager
Requirements:
- Experience in electrical and mechanical repair work
- Proficiency in power tools and fault finding
- Experience in PAT testing
- Ability to recover and fix products
- Skills in providing professional feedback on faults
- Setting up external relations with technical services
- Experience with office packages and team management
