Job Description

Are you a seasoned sales professional with a proven track record in field sales within the construction industry? Do you possess excellent relationship-building skills and the ability to manage a portfolio of accounts? Our client, a leading global business in the non mechanical access equipment industry, is seeking an experienced Account Manager to cover the Bristol to Swindon region.

The Role:

  • As an Account Manager, your primary responsibility will be to sell and hire the company's range of specialist non mechanical access solutions to Main and Sub Contractors, Ground Workers, Civil Engineers, and the Construction industry at large.
  • You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of 50-60 accounts, developing these relationships, and ensuring they receive the best possible service and are aware of the full product range available.
  • Your role will be split evenly between Account Management and New Business, with leads provided and an excellent database to support your efforts.
  • You will also be expected to provide excellent training, support, and backup to your clients.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Must have a proven track record in construction field sales, with a strong background in account management and new business development.
  • Our client is seeking a professional sales person with a long-term career perspective.
  • Excellent experience in selling to Main and Sub Contractors and the Construction industry at large is essential.
