CTG is collaborating with a client to recruit a Print Production Associate for a continuous contract role.
Location: Foothill Ranch, CA
Job Type: Hourly Contract
Duration: Ongoing
Working Hours: 7 am to 4 pm, Monday to Friday
Compensation: $21.50 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute essential tasks to meet basic customer requirements related to document assembly and finishing.
- Perform defined and routine tasks and activities.
- Lift items weighing up to 50 pounds as necessary.
- Serve as the primary contact for receiving, reviewing, and electronically logging customer jobs.
- Operate standard finishing equipment, including paper cutters, inserters, laminators, and hole punchers.
- Utilize basic office equipment such as printers, copiers, and fax machines.
- Apply asset tags to office equipment and maintain an updated database.
- Coordinate the movement, addition, or modification of office equipment assets at customer locations.
- Clean and maintain office equipment as required.
- Process and distribute incoming and outgoing faxes, logging for billing purposes.
- Log incoming packages and accountable mail.
- Process basic forms and update information using a computer.
- Prepare, pack, label, and ship finished products.
- Collect and submit meter readings while maintaining appropriate supply inventory and distributing supplies as needed.
- Address basic issues to fulfill production, delivery, and output requirements.
- Conduct basic quality inspections before, during, and after each production run.
- Sort and scan hardcopy materials or other mediums for use in printed documents or digital formats; specific application training may be provided.
- Collect data and respond to print/copy equipment issues by contacting service personnel using designated PC applications.
- Operate low to mid-speed printers and copiers.
- Estimate, schedule, and track incoming production jobs.
- Store jobs as required for future reuse, including file backups and document conversions using standard software.
- Perform operator maintenance on equipment.
- Maintain reporting logs and information for billing purposes.
- Conduct mail delivery and courier duties as requested.
Required Skills:
- Basic computer skills.
- Functional knowledge of PC operations, including keyboard and mouse usage.
- Basic proficiency in MS Office, particularly in maintaining reports in Excel; familiarity with web access and internet skills.
- Ability to send and receive emails, locate, open, and save documents and files, and perform data entry.
- Proficiency in using internet browsers for web navigation and sending documents to preconfigured printers.
- Basic math skills, including division, multiplication, and percentages.
- Professionalism and business maturity.
Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a customer service environment.
- Experience in print production or copy center operations.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
