About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join our team at ISS Integrated Solutions. As a Shift Leader, you will play a key role in maintaining our leading edge status within the industry and further enhancing our reputation with our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) in accordance with set schedules, ensuring engineering standards are maintained to maximise the operational effectiveness and reliability of the plant and associated electrical systems.
  • Adhere to set engineering standards in accordance with Health and Safety at Work Act (HASAWA) requirements.
  • Ensure onsite quality assurance procedures are adhered to in all respects and maintain accurate records/documentation associated with the electrical aspects of the PPM and plant.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to all electrically related reactive maintenance issues and help desk requests.
  • Carry out technical surveys of the above services and systems, reporting findings to the Critical Engineering Manager.
  • Produce lists of costs of materials required for any minor works.
  • Coordinate initial actions associated with all requests from the client.
  • Deal with customer enquiries and complaints, reporting actions taken to line management.
  • Undertake follow-up actions required to resolve situational circumstances for which you have been authorised to undertake.

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

  • Experience in a similar banking environment with multi-site locations.
  • Conversant with a wide range of building service systems and equipment.
  • Sound electrical and mechanical knowledge.
  • Conversant with current Health and Safety legislation with relevance to safe working practices.
  • City & Guilds Parts 1 and 2 (Electrical Installation 2360) or recognised equivalent.
  • 17th Edition Institute of Electrical Engineers (I.E.E) Registration or recognised equivalent.
  • Electrical apprenticeship – gained within the building maintenance industry.
  • Experience with similar maintenance duties including fault diagnosis and rectification.
  • Experience in the electrical aspects of general building PPM schedules.
  • Experienced in electrical installation work, plus electrical testing and inspection.
