Delegated Authority Officer

Finitas is seeking a skilled Delegated Authority Officer to join their team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for supporting the governance of all delegated authorities written, attending Lloyd's or Market DA meetings, and providing day-to-day support to junior members of the team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Head of Delegated Authority in ensuring the effective governance of delegated authorities.
  • Attend and contribute to Lloyd's or Market DA meetings to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Provide administrative support to junior team members, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.
  • Coordinate and oversee the annual review of the Delegated Authority process guides to ensure compliance and best practices.
  • Deliver quarterly Delegated Authority Controls Reviews and present findings to stakeholders.
  • Process Lead DCOM entries, New Coverholder Applications, and mid-term contract changes with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Deputise for the Head of Delegated Authority as required, ensuring continuity of operations.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a technical delegated authority role, with a strong understanding of Coverholder Applications and due diligence.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborative team player with the ability to work independently, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Able to adapt to a dynamic and challenging environment, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality results.
