Job Title: 1st Line Support Engineer

Job Description:

Peaple Talent has exclusively partnered with a leading technology service provider to recruit a skilled 1st line infrastructure engineer with expertise in managing multiple client environments. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology and a desire to develop their technical skills in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1st line customer-facing and remote support services
  • Take ownership of escalated issues from the Service Desk and work closely with the Network Infrastructure team
  • Deliver technical support to a range of clients, meeting service level agreements (SLAs)
  • Maintain and update internal client documentation and logging time and activities
  • Evaluate and escalate issues that cannot be resolved within agreed service levels

Requirements:

  • At least one year of experience working as an IT/Support Engineer in an MSP or ISP
  • Working knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS, DHCP, and troubleshooting
  • Microsoft Exchange/Exchange Online and Microsoft Office 365 fundamentals
  • Remote Desktop Servers and Desktop Support experience
  • Networking protocols, including TCP/IP

Working Environment:

This is a hybrid role with 2 days working from the office and some on-site visits to customers and clients. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, providing technical support to a range of clients.
