The Best Connection is seeking a skilled Counterbalance FLT driver to join their team at a manufacturer in South Shields. This is a brand new site that is opening in the Port of Tyne, South Shields, and specializes in manufacturing fertilizers. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience operating a Counterbalance FLT and a valid, in-date license. They will also be responsible for loading and unloading delivery vehicles, relocating stock, and performing general laboring tasks. The role requires flexibility and the ability to multitask. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 07:00am to 17:00pm, with the possibility of a 14:00pm to 22:00pm shift during peak periods. The pay rate is £12.28 per hour for the first 8 hours worked and £18.42 per hour for overtime. Benefits include ongoing assignments, holiday accrual, personal accident insurance, pension provision, and weekly pay. Suitable candidates will be invited to register online via the company's digital onboarding system. The company offers a range of benefits, including 28 days paid annual leave pro-rata for PAYE, 24hr oncall support, canteen facilities, induction training, and ongoing assignments. The role also offers the possibility of a permanent position following a successful trial period and shift premiums.
