Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer/Setter/Operator (Milling) to join our team at Retrack Personnel Holdings Limited.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Program and set up CNC 3, 4 & 5 Axis Milling machines using Fanuc and Sinumerik controls.
  • Utilize EDGECAM for offline programming.
  • Produce first-off components to ensure requirements and standards are met.
  • Develop and maintain machine set-up documentation.
  • Stay updated on cutting-edge technology for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with management to meet program timescales and address potential issues.
  • Support production management with technical solutions.
  • Work closely with Engineering/Quality departments to maintain quality standards.
  • Maintain high housekeeping standards.
  • Provide assistance to team members as needed.
  • Mentor new staff when required.
  • Ensure a safe working environment and adhere to Health and Safety procedures.
  • Assist with other relevant tasks.

Requirements:

  • GCSE in English, Maths & Science (C grade or above).
  • Experience in CNC programming, setting, and operating (Aerospace Industry preferred).
  • Proficiency in CAD/CAM Offline Programming with EDGECAM.
  • Ability to edit programs using Fanuc & Sinumerik controls.
  • Experience with Metric and Imperial systems.
  • Computer literate and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team.
  • Capability to handle pressure and meet deadlines.

Desired Skills:

  • Programming experience with 3, 4 & 5 axis machines.
  • Completion of an Engineering Apprenticeship.

Monday to Thursday: 8am – 5pm, Friday: 8am – 1pm.
