Security Officer

As a Security Officer at First Response Group, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of our premises and staff. This is a challenging and rewarding position that requires a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a safe and secure environment, ensuring safe access to buildings at all times
- Carry out patrols and hazard reporting as requested
- Ensure all Health & Safety policies are adhered to
- Complete all necessary reports in line with company documentation
- Access/Egress control
- Monitoring of alarms and CCTV system
- Key Holding responsibilities
- Controlling and monitoring access to the car parks
- Adhering to policies and procedures at all times
- General refuse management and ensuring overall tidiness on site
- Provide a high standard of customer service
- Be polite, helpful, and diligent, with a 'can do' ethos
- Have a calm personality capable of controlling difficult situations
- Valid Door Supervision SIA licence
- Must be able to drive (must have own transport due to location of site)
- Confident with electronic devices
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Be punctual and reliable
- High levels of written and verbal communication skills
- Fully comprehensive 5-year work/unemployment/education history screenable to BS7858
- Be comfortable patrolling long distances and be on your feet for extended periods of time
