Architect Position Overview

Our client, a reputable architectural practice, is seeking a talented Architect to join their expanding team in Canterbury. The successful Architect will be responsible for delivering architectural projects through all RIBA stages, working on a range of conservation and historic buildings, and participating in team meetings.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Delivery of architectural projects through all RIBA stages
  2. Work on an exciting range of conservation and historic buildings
  3. Occasional site visits
  4. Submission of planning and building regulations
  5. Help with and coordinate the design and production of comprehensive design information
  6. Prepare and produce plans and documents for statutory approvals
Requirements:
  1. ARB or RIBA Qualified Architect with 1+ years' experience within the UK
  2. Excellent design and drawing skills
  3. Experience or enthusiasm working with historic buildings
  4. Proven experience working on all RIBA stages
  5. Ability to work successfully within a team
  6. Personable, confident, and with a strong sense of team spirit
  7. Competent in technical detailing
  8. Knowledge of Revit highly advantageous, although training can be provided for those without knowledge of the software
